If you have a child enrolled at Agnor-Hurt Elementary School (AHES), then you are a member of the Agnor-Hurt Elementary Parent and Teacher Organization (PTO).  There are no dues required.  Welcome!  We need your help to continue to make Agnor-Hurt a great school.

Our goal is to combine the many talents of parents, teachers, and school administrators to create an environment at Agnor-Hurt Elementary that best serves the diverse needs of our students.  We encourage you to join us in making our school the best it can be and a place of growth and learning for our children.

What We Do – We know that children learn more and have better lives when everyone in the school community works together to share thoughts and information and work on projects to benefit children.

The AHES PTO gives you a voice and opportunities to support the school and be an advocate for your child. We raise money for supplies, events, and needs of the school. We share our diverse cultures through awesome events. We rally to make positive changes in the school and in the community.

For the school year, we plan Fall Festival, Movie Nights, and Healthy Living Programs that entertain and benefit the whole family. We will continue our successful fundraising campaigns to raise monies to support Agnor-Hurt Elementary’s needs and the library. Parent volunteers will be supporting the faculty as needed and providing tutoring, recognition, and encouragement to all of the children.

Please join with us to make a difference in the education, health, and welfare of our school community.

Our Mission – To promote an active and open partnership within the Agnor-Hurt Elementary School community in order to inspire students to fully realize their academic, social and emotional potential while nurturing their cultural and community awareness.

Our Vision – Every child’s potential is a reality.

Our Purpose – To develop closer connections between school and home by encouraging parent involvement. To enhance the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities. To improve the environment at our school by providing volunteer and financial support.
